Hi, I'm Bill Miller and I want to help make your wedding dreams come true. I was born and raised in Denver--a somewhat rare trait these days. I matriculated through Denver Public Schools graduating from East High School, (so that makes me an Angel.!) I attended the University of Denver. I'm a decorated and honorably discharged combat veteran and subsequently spent 33 years in the business world working in telecommunications.
During my grown up life, I've experienced the joy of travel and new places, having visited Germany, France, England, Spain, Canada and Mexico. My joys in life are many and varied, I've been an outfielder, forward, wingback, a marshal and fortunate enough to stand on a tee box to watch my errant shot ricochet off a tree and roll in the hole. I've overcome the plethora of discrimination doled out to members of the southpaw tribe and managed to flourish.
In the phase of life I now call 'post alarm clock' I've become a volunteer with SpellBinder, a wonderful non-profit organization the passes the art of story telling to grade school age children. Through this program, I've become a trained storyteller and I am fortunate to share this gift on a weekly basis with 1st through 3rd graders in Golden, Colorado schools. In our fast paced, technologically driven age, storytelling is a form of communication and connection that our society is hungry for, passing on to children enduring concepts and wisdom. The most profound joy in my life comes from "my" children--some of whom greet me as "Gramps".
