Weddings have been my life and my passion for the past 10 years. Twelve if you count my own. I started out in 1999 as a wedding coordinator and the magic of the wedding day never faded. Each couple with whom I worked was so unique and special that I never knew quite what to expect on the actual day of the wedding. There are so many touching experiences, whether it is the moment the father gives away his daughter, the first time that the bride & groom see each other, or an incredible toast. Being the incurable romantic that I am, it was hard not to cry at these poignant times, but I did manage to refrain! It is the highest honor that a couple can give me--to allow a glimpse into their lives at such a personal moment.
In 2008, family commitments--in the form of three growing sons--demanded that I cut back on wedding coordination, which lead to a new opportunity to officiate weddings with Lyssabeth's. Weddings are something of which I love to be a part and Maureen offered me a way to have the best of both worlds - have time to be with my family, but also to be a part of the most sacred aspect of the wedding - the ceremony.
Because of my background, I am an expert at helping your ceremony run smoothly. As a wedding officiant, I look forward to helping you find the perfect words to describe how you feel about each other. However, I am most excited to learn your story, how you met, your lives together and of course the engagement. I love a great love story!
Both my husband and I were born and raised in Colorado, he in Englewood and I in southwest Denver. We have 3 wonderful boys, 13, 10 & 6 and we love exploring Colorado with them. Now that they are older, we are beginning to explore different parts of the country too. We love bike rides, hikes and camping in our beautiful mountains. I am an avid reader and have also begun dabbling in writing. I like to be creative and am always on the lookout for different outlets.
Thank you so much for considering me for your wedding. It would be an honor to help you create a meaningful and memorable ceremony!
