Get to Know Our Colorado Wedding Officiants
Laughingly dubbed the "Irreverent Reverends" due to our propensity to institute creativity, warmth and even a bit of humor into wedding ceremonies, our officiants pride themselves on their "irreverent gaiety and ease of manner" when developing and performing your wedding service.
We share a passion for helping couples tell their unique love story and we are absolutely grounded in the philosophy that all expressions of love are valid. To that end, we create your ceremony based on your expressed values. You may want to mention God in your ceremony, or you may prefer something totally secular. You may desire that your ceremony reflects the glory of nature, a Universal Spirit, or you may have some more traditional religious or cultural customs you'd like to include. The choice is yours.
Irreverent (adjective) ir·rev·er·ent. Characterized by a lightly pert and exuberant quality; "a certain irreverent gaiety and ease of manner"
It's your day. It's all about you. It's also incredibly important that you "click" with your wedding officiant to insure a comfortable and special wedding ceremony experience. We are all talented and creative writers, polished public speakers, and we're experts at handling wedding-day glitches. We know all of the ceremony etiquette and we're just as quick to reassure you that you don't have to do anything by a prescribed set of rules. Mostly, we love what we do, and it shows.

The Front Range has been my home for nearly forty years now. I grew up in the shadow of Coors Brewery when Golden was still smallish. Dear Jim (Anderson)
We want to thank you again for how perfectly everything went! Every step of the way you and the organization you work with have been professional, courteous and ready to offer helpful tips and guidance regarding the event, without ever making us feel limited in how we wanted our wedding to proceed. You gave us the information we needed to ensure that all went smoothly, and allowed us to create, with your help a ceremony that we felt was truly our own and perfectly suited to our beliefs and feelings towards one another. You and Lyssabeths have been prompt to respond whenever we had questions or concerns regarding how to proceed and always had good advice for how we should go about considering our options, and how to personalize the event to truly make it uniquely ours.
Thanks again for all of your efforts and for a wonderful wedding which we will remember and enjoy looking back on for as long long as we live!

Lennon Villarose (Longmont)
I grew up in Pennsylvania but moved to Colorado almost 20 years ago. I love the zest for life and the wonderful energy that Colorado has. My two sons and I live just outside of Boulder and we often find ourselves hiking the Flatirons or just bouldering some mysterious outcropping. I write poetry and dabble in theater when I am feeling extra outgoing. I have a passion for movies and all that goes into making them. I think I am always drawn to a good story...Click here to learn more about Lennon.
