Hi, my name is Curtis, and I'd like to marry you. And who wouldn't? You have good looks, grace, charm, and that certain je ne sais quois that no one else can match.
What's that? You're already engaged?
Right! I knew that. Um...awkward...What I meant was...
I want to officiate your wedding ceremony!
Before we take this big step, here's what you need to know about me:
I was born in Denver and grew up here. I went to Thomas Jefferson High School and the University of Colorado at Boulder. My Dad was a psychiatrist, Mom was a nurse. My brother Paul--my best friend ever. My sister Kristen...well, less said about her the better. (Kidding! I love Kris!) We grew up with a golden retriever and I'm still a huge dog nut.
After college I performed at The Comedy Works here in town, doing both stand-up and improv comedy, performing with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Roseanne Barr, Ellen DeGeneres, and Michael Floorwax. Then I moved to Los Angeles, where I performed at The Second City with Molly Shannon and Andy Dick (I know, I know....). In the 90's my brother and I wrote and sold two romantic comedy screenplays. In 2003 our first feature-length movie, an improvised parody shot in the style of MTV's The Real World, was honored at film festivals in the U.S., Canada, Germany, and Israel, winning several awards.
I moved back home in 2008 and I'm loving being back in Colorado!
My personal interests include travel, reading, history, science and nature, and anthropology.
One other thing--I'm a hopeless romantic. It makes me happy to be around people who are in love. I wish you all the sweetest, greatest things in life. We should all be so very lucky!
