Colorado Wedding Officiants
I look forward to helping you with your special day. Whether you choose a traditional, contemporary, or secular ceremony, I will be there to advise you and work with you every step of the way. My goal is to make your journey together begin with a memorable and unique event.
Colorado is the only home I've ever known. My two brothers and I grew up in Greeley, Colorado. Although they moved away, I stayed here. Why go somewhere else when you have such a great place to live? I went to college in Denver and law school in Boulder before relocating to Littleton where I live today. I worked for twenty-three years as an attorney and judicial officer before I retired in 2006. The one thing I missed was the pleasure of helping couples begin their married lives together. When I met with Maureen of Lyssabeth's Colorado Wedding Officiants, I welcomed the opportunity to get back to working with couples again.

I was lucky to find my soul mate, Robin, over twenty years ago. Although it rained before our wedding and started up again after it, it was clear and beautiful during our ceremony. We took that as a sign. We've been happily married ever since and have two wonderful, and challenging teenagers, Chris and Jenn. I've been fortunate to do a bit of traveling in my life, including 48 of our states, Mexico and Canada, most of Europe, the Caribbean, and China. But after seeing all of that, I still call Colorado home.
In addition to traveling, my interests include reading, movies, and golf. I love to participate in and watch sports. I'm a die-hard Rockies, Avalanche, and Broncos fan.
I've often heard people say that if you enjoy what you're doing then it's not work. I have enjoyed officiating at weddings since 1999. I started out with the single toughest wedding I've ever performed. I married my father-in-law. Well, I mean I performed his wedding ceremony. I've been fortunate enough to officiate at several hundred wedding ceremonies in the years since then. All of them have been performed in Colorado, many in the beautiful mountains.
