When my husband, Greg and I were married, I really believed I had my "dream wedding." We were married outside in the mountains on a beautiful summer evening. Everything was perfect...so I thought! When I became certified to perform ceremonies in 2002 and began working with Maureen at Lyssabeth's, I realized there were so many more options for a creative and unique wedding ceremony.

Although our wedding was beautiful, our ceremony was in reality, very typical. There was little personalization and our officiant really didn't know us. I always tell my husband that we should renew our vows and write a beautiful personalized ceremony similar to the ones I am privileged to write for couples!

Working with couples for their big day is such a wonderful experience for me--it is the best part of what I do. I understand that this is a huge event and I enjoy spending extra time giving you exactly what you want! I want everything to be wonderful for you and will help you every step of the way!

In the meantime, I tell him I need to practice by "pronouncing" us as husband and wife whenever I get the chance. On a daily basis, I like to remind him that "You may now kiss your bride!" (He doesn't seem to mind that either as he always complies!)

A former high school teacher with lots of experience speaking before a crowd (and not always enthusiastic ones, at that!) I excel at anticipating (and handling!) the unexpected that often pops up out of nowhere when planning and performing a ceremony. I also enjoy working out, shopping and most of all, spending time with my family!

We were so happy with our ceremony! Everything about it was absolutely perfect--it was sweet, touching, funny, personal and was very much "us"--and we owe it all to you. We couldn't have asked for a better person to marry us. We've received so many compliments about you and the ceremony.
