I figured we'd start there because sincere "congratulations" are in order for you. After all, you are looking for a wedding officiant and it will be my honor and my pleasure to share in your special wedding day.
I am Scott Franssen, and it is with admiration of your commitment that I participate in your celebration. I grew up in Michigan the youngest of five children. When I was 9, my oldest sister asked me to read at her wedding. Little did she know that I would continue along that path in different ways. Not only did that day pique my interest in public speaking, but it also gave me a keen insight of how I could uses my talents to positively serve others. My earliest experiences at weddings left very positive marks on me - and these are the types of memories I hope to bring to your wedding. After all, this day should be recalled with a smile on your lips, and a spark in your eyes.
I moved to Colorado in 1997. I can't imagine a better place to live between the wonderful people, remarkable weather, and majestic mountains. I love skiing in the winter, cycling along the many trails around Denver, and hiking open spaces near the foothills. Additionally, I fill my spare time at the theater, museums, and sporting events. There's a lot to enjoy here, and I do my best to be as inclusive as possible.
As your officiant, I am devoted to the wedding ceremony that you desire. This is a day about "you". We will become a team to express the sentiments you desire to be expressed when your special day comes.

I wanted to thank you for a perfect wedding day. The ceremony went great and I received so many comments on how great the actual vows were and what a great job you did. Thanks for steadying my nerves (in case you didn't know you did) and helping to make the day perfect. I could not have asked for a better ceremony. We are both so happy!
