I consider myself a Colorado native, having lived here most of my life. Growing up, I was like most Colorado kids - camping and backpacking in the summer, skiing in the winter. I've always loved our mountains and I can't imagine living anywhere else.
In high school, I sang in an A'Capella female trio and had the privilege to travel around the country, competing in various events. I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I intended to study music, only to discover my love for public speaking. When I graduated, I continued to pursue my passion for speaking and earned certifications through Dale Carnegie and Toastmasters International.
In 2000, I married my best friend and college sweetheart and we now live in the Littleton area with our two beautiful boys. When I'm not chasing them around, I enjoy running and recently completed my second half-marathon.

When I met Maureen, I felt an immediate connection and was instantly drawn to her creativity, passion and desire to make weddings fun and interesting. I share her philosophy of "breaking the mold" when it comes to ceremonies as no two couples are alike. I remember how stressful it can be planning a wedding, much less finding an officiant who is willing to help you create a ceremony that captures the true essence of who you are as a couple.
Our wedding was simple and sweet; however, as I look back, I wish we had the opportunity to be more creative with our ceremony. Although we added some very special touches, our words to one another were no different than any other couple who married at that church - that day, that month, that year.
I've been performing ceremonies with Lyssabeth's since 2004 and I can honestly say that--whether simple or complex--every ceremony I've performed--just like every couple--has been unique.
I look forward to sharing your special day with you!
